How many entrepreneurial ventures have you had?

SOLUtion is my first

How long have you been an entrepreneur?

~5 years

How did you fund your first (or only) venture?

Our capital raising strategy has predominantly centered on strategic investment, which has mutually benefited both parties. This approach has added significant value, enabling us to leverage established resources, expedite development, address complex issues, and streamline processes.

What do you like most about being an entrepreneur?

I have a genuine appreciation for those unexpected, quirky moments that bring people together – a classic ‘meet cute’. Being an entrepreneur not only allows me to meet and learn from new faces, but it also gives me the opportunity to make a positive impact by helping others through entrepreneurship.

Based on your experience, what three pieces of advice would you share with aspiring entrepreneurs and start-ups?

1. Remember your initial motivation to help you persevere through challenges. 2. Cultivate a growth mindset by being self-aware and open to learning from mistakes and feedback. 3. Establish boundaries to allocate time for rest, even when the work isn’t complete. Incorporating Ronan Harrington’s advice, remember that setting boundaries is not about rejecting opportunities, but about giving yourself the space to consider if you’re genuinely able and willing to take them on. It’s about slowing down your immediate “yes” to make room for thoughtful consideration.

Anything else you’d like to share?

SOLUtion began from personal need, family brainstorming, and a basement sketch in graduate school. Our experienced team and determined drive have brought us to where we are today: an international specialty pharma company creating all-in-one drug and device platforms that enhance patients’ lives, rather than defining them.
